Digital Infrastructures for Teaching and Learning

Modern teaching in higher education relies heavily on a modern infrastructure. We offer teaching staff and students access to and support for the following infrastructures.

Moodle Learning Management System

Since 2011, we have managed – together with the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre – the TUM-wide lecturing and learning platform Moodle. Teaching staff can provide their students with learning materials (e.g. texts, graphics, videos, files, links) and interact and collaborate with their students (e.g. chat, forum, polls, online homework submission).

Lecture Recording

Please contact us if you would like to have your lectures recorded and to provide the recordings to your students. We are also happy to advise you on implementing video recordings and lecture videos into your teaching strategy.

Digital Exams

Our TUM-wide offer for formative and summative e-assessment is constantly evolving. Supervised and unsupervised examination formats are tested according to need, and our experience and recommendations are thus made available to those responsible for examinations at TUM.

Apps

We have developed the app MobiDics together with colleagues at the Ludwig Maximilians University of München, the University of Passau, and the University of Göttingen. MobiDics is a pedagogy toolbox that assists you in preparing, structuring, and holding your lectures.

Overview of all Teaching and Learning Tools

Along with the infrastructure that we run and supervise, we offer many additional tools to the TUM teaching staff: here is overview of all digital tools that can support your teaching.
