Konstantina Koumpouli has graduated from the University of Patras, Greece and the HAN University of Applied Sciences, The Netherlands, where she completed educational studies with a special focus on Education in an International Perspective. She has worked for a few years as a Pedagogue both in Greece and the Netherlands, where she taught in Greek, English and Dutch, focusing on teaching with innovative methods of instruction and applying different methods of teaching mathematics as well as individualized teaching to students with learning difficulties (inclusive education). Following that, she obtained a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree with distinction from the Technical University of Munich, Germany, where she studied Educational Research (“Research on Teaching and Learning”), completing research projects on “Using technology to make a positive impact in teaching and learning” (collaboration with the Centre for Educational Research, Liverpool John Moores University, Liverpool, UK) and “Physicians’ motivation to teach”. During her studies and for about 1,5 years, she worked as Assistant Coordinator of Massive Open Online Courses at the TUM Media Center, supporting the coordination of MOOCs at TUM. Since August 2018, Konstantina took over the actual MOOCs Coordinator position and currently she is responsible for the MOOCs project management and support, the implementation and further development of internal university processes for MOOCs, as well as the conceptual design and implementation of digital teaching strategies, together with the consulting team of ProLehre.
