Courses for Tutors
Interdisciplinary courses for tutors help lay the foundations for your teaching competence. In a variety of workshops, open to all members of the TUM teaching staff, you may deepen and further your teaching ability. A number of our workshops are open to and free of charge for tutors.
Teaching Feedback
If you wish, we can visit your tutorial and provide you with individual feedback. This service is free of charge for student tutors. If you are interested or have questions, please get in touch with your department liaison.
Literature
We recommend our tutor handouts (German only) and the book The Torch or The Firehose, a manual for tutors and tutorial leaders.
Certificate
If you acquire 45 or more study units (45 min. each) and receive at least one teaching feedback, you are eligible to receive our certificate for tutors. Please contact your department liaison for more information.
