Instructional Design Initiative

Come to our IDI transfer workshops!

This semester we offer four thematic IDI workshops that will support you in effectively transferring innovative didactical approaches into your teaching.

Register now via the respective link to the following thematic workshops:

You are welcome to attend the "parent course" on the respective topic - however, this is not a prerequisite for participation in the IDI workshop.
The IDI workshops are bilingual, even if the respective mother courses are offered in English.

Background Information

Instructional design is the practice of systematically planning, developing, and delivering learning materials and learning environments - both digital and face-to-face - with the goal of efficient, effective, engaging, and sustainable knowledge acquisition.

With the Instructional Design Initiative, we support teachers in reflecting on and further developing their teaching didactically - from the teaching strategy to the event conception to the design of teaching and learning materials.

  • Do you have a tricky problem in your teaching?
  • Do you have an urgent question about hybrid versus presence versus online teaching formats or another didactical concept?
  • Are you currently working on a challenging situation with a student?
  • Do you want low-threshold feedback on a planned teaching intervention or new teaching methods?
  • Are you are looking for a competent and constructive counterpart to work through your new teaching concept together?
  • Do you want to modernize your teaching with care and avoid typical pitfalls right from the start?

Then just come to one of our open Instructional Design office hours! Weekly (on Mondays or Thursdays between 9 and 11 a.m.) we are available in our IDI Zoom room (passcode: 411186) to assist you digitally and to work with you on your requests. (Natürlich begleiten wir sie auch bei Bedarf auf Deutscher Sprache.)
