Short Bio

Jeremiah Hendren has taught scientific writing and communication for the past decade. After completing his bachelor’s degree at Harvard College, he began working at TUM in 2011, where he taught advanced courses on scientific writing and served as the founding coordinator of the English Writing Center (EWC) within the TUM Language Center. In his six years at the EWC, he oversaw its growth into a well-known TUM institution, serving over 4,000 students per year. In 2018, he moved to ProLehre, where he work as an advisor for writing pedagogy and the internationalization of teaching. In 2015, Jeremiah completed an MA in English at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, where he is currently pursuing a PhD in cognitive linguistics and science communication. In parallel to his university posts, Jeremiah has worked as a communication consultant since 2009, delivering diverse services to companies and academic institutions in the US, Europe and Asia.
